- Brooke Street Pier is a floating structure, both a building and a boat, which rises and falls with the tide. It’s the departure point for the MONA ferry and Derwent Ferries.

Princes Wharf No. 1 (Outside Main Entrance)
- Salamanca Place is where you’ll find Salamanca Market – Australia’s largest outdoor market. Held every Saturday, rain hail or shine.
- The row of 1840s Georgian sandstone warehouses have been converted into cafés, restaurants, bars, galleries and boutique retail stores.
- The perfect place to find a special hand-crafted gift or memento of your holiday.
- A short walk up the historic Kelly’s Steps takes you into Battery Point.

Castray Esplanade (Outside CSIRO)
- Located at Princes Park, Hobart Signal Station is the oldest building in Battery Point. Built in 1818 as part of a series of semaphore stations that sent and received messages. It is also the site of the Mulgrave, Prince of Wales and Albert Batteries, condemned in 1878.
- Stroll through the heritage gardens or have a play at the pirate ship playground.
- The Battery Point Sculpture Trail winds its way along the waterfront revealing more of Battery Point’s history.
